BIO: Chris Nurse returns for his second season with the RailHawks. In 2011, Nurse started in 14 games and appeared in a total of 19 games during the regular season. He had one goal and three assists on the season. Nurse is currently the captain of the Guyana National Team as they prepare for the World Cup Qualifiers in 2014. He led Guyana past Trinidad & Tobago, Bermuda and Barbados on their way to the 3rd round of group play.
A native of England, Nurse worked his way through the youth academy to the senior squad at Kingstonian F.C. He played for multiple teams in England, including Aldershot Town and Stevenage Borough, before signing with the Rochester Rhinos in 2009. In 2010, Nurse joined the Puerto Rico Islanders, where he led the team to the 2010 Caribbean Football Union Club Championship and into the CONCACAF Championships League. Nurse also led the Islanders to the 2010 USSF Division 2 Pro League Championship.
