The Puerto Rico Islanders FC, 2010 USSF D-2 League Champions, announced the open tryouts on March 1, 2011 at the Sylvan Lake Park in Orlando, Florida. Coach Colin Clarke, a former international for Northern Ireland and Head Coach of the Islanders, will be evaluating potential players for the 2011 season.
The three-time CONCACAF Champions League participants, who are also the 2010 CFU (Caribbean Football Union) Champions, are the first Puerto Rican soccer team to win both a Caribbean as well as a North American Soccer Championship.

Players need to arrive by 1:00 p.m. on March 1st to finalize their registration process at Sylvan Lake Park. Players must be present for all sessions to be considered.

Registration:
The registration fee to attend the Puerto Rico Islanders Player Combine is $150.00 USD. To attend the tryouts, Players must fill out both, the Registration Form and the Waiver Form. These forms and payment must be received by February 22nd.

Accommodations:
All traveling Players must secure their own accommodations, meals, travel documents and local transportation for the tryouts.
Payment:
Credit card payment available through PayPal or make money orders (NO CHECKS) payable to PR Islanders FC for $150.00 USD (includes registration fee only). A $75.00 USD minimum deposit is required to reserve a place in the tryouts. Any remaining balances can be paid in cash prior to the first session on March 1.
