The Puerto Rico Islanders kicked off their “Youth Club Spotlight” program, which gives soccer clubs in different communities around Puerto Rico the tools and motivation they need in order to work with the young members of their teams.
“We believe in promoting these soccer clinics in Puerto Rican communities in order to encourage unity among members of the teams and various clubs,” were some of the words shared by president of feminine youth soccer club Challengers FC, Oscar Luna.
The Islanders' staff worked with the girls from Challengers FC in a series of sessions that included warm-ups, other exercises and dynamics that helped the motivation and union of the team. The “Youth Club Spotlight” will continue to take place in communities all over the island.
