For the second straight week, a Puerto Rico Islanders attacking player has been awarded the NASL Offensive Player of the Week. Jonathan Faña scored twice for the Islanders in a 2-0 away victory over FC Tampa Bay. Faña's 35th minute strike put the Islanders up 1-0 despite being outshot 12-6 in the first half. In second half, Faña sealed the game for Puerto Rico with a 79th minute strike that was assisted by new signing Gregory Richardson.
