OneLink to continue their support of the Puerto Rico Islanders

OneLink Communications will continue to work with the Puerto Rico Islanders in 2011 by transmitting the team’s home games on T.V. - and also online through the official club website: www.prislandersfc.com. OneLink Communications is an entertainment and telecommunications company that offers cable, Internet, and phone services to the cities of Guaynabo, Carolina, Toa Alta, Toa Baja, Bayamón, Trujillo Alto, Cataño, and San Juan.

OneLink will begin to televise the Islanders home games beginning on April 26 when the ‘Tropa Naranja’ hosts their home opener for the 2011 North American Soccer League (NASL) season. In addition to the NASL regular season home games, fans will also be able to watch the team’s second round match in the Caribbean Football Union’s Club Championship scheduled for May 14th– as well as the Islanders’ home matches in the NASL playoffs and the CONCACAF Champions League (pending qualification). Eduardo Cantore and Jose Vicente Hernández will continue to be the Spanish commentators for the televised games. The matches will be televised through OneLink’s channel 85 live at 8:00 pm, following the 7:30pm pre-game show; except on Sundays when the games will be televised on delay at 7:00pm – one hour after stadium kick-off.

In addition, OneLink Communications will provide the live on-line transmissions of the Islanders’ home games. The on-line transmission will be in English and will be available through the official Puerto Rico Islanders web page: www.prislandersfc.com.

The Islanders will have their home opener in the NASL on Tuesday April 26that 8:00pm when they host the NSC Minnesota Stars. After last weekend’s 2-1 victory in North Carolina against the RailHawks, the Islanders will be traveling to Tampa this upcoming Sunday (April 17th) for their game against Tampa Bay FC.
