(7/25/2012) Bayamon, Puerto Rico- This coming Saturday, July 28, thePuerto Rico Islanders FC will dedicate their game against the Minnesota Stars to the “Fundación Hogar Niñito Jesús”. Under the leadership of co-captain Nicholas Addlery, players undertook a campaign collected essential items for children between 0 and 7 years of age who have been removed from their homes by the Department of Family and receive household services.
You can help the cause by donating some essential supplies to the "Islanders Tent" this Saturday, at the Bayamon Soccer Complex . The club will be collecting individual snacks, fruit, canned juices and milk powder. They will also be accepting towels, forehead thermometers, baby bibs, nursing gloves, lotion, baby wipes and crib sheet sets. Among other items needed are detergents, liquid and spray disinfectant, dishwashing liquid, spray oven cleaner, fabric softener, etc. The children are also in need of clothing, new underwear, shoes and regular school notebooks.
