The Puerto Rico Islanders faced their old rivals, the Charleston Battery, in Charleston on Tuesday night for the team’s last pre-season friendly. The ‘Tropa Naranja’ defeated the division 3 champions in Blackbaud Stadium by a score of 1-0. New signing Matt Bouraee scored the lone goal in the 76thminute.

"We wanted to have one last pre-season friendly to prepare for our season opener this Saturday in North Carolina. We are happy with what we have seen so far, the players worked really hard, and we know it will pay off", said Islanders head coach Colin Clarke.
