About the RailHawks
Even though the RailHawks are yet to win a game on this 2012 NASL season under ex-Islanders Coach Colin Clarke, they recieve the Islanders after a 2-1 win against the MLS Champions, LA Galaxy in the U.S. Open Cup with goals from Ty Shipalane and Brian Shriver, who are among the league’s top-five goal scorers with 4 goals.

About the Islanders
The Puerto Rico Islanders are currently in first place  in the NASLwith 17 points, position they held since the start of the season. With nine players called up for National Team duty, the Puerto Islanders are left short handed for their visit to WakeMed Soccer Park. Hector "Pito" Ramos, who scored two goals in the last two NASL matches, and two goals in the Islanders’ 8-0 win against George Town SC, is among the players who will not be available for Saturday’s game.  Also unavailable due to NationalTteam duty is Gregory Richardson, Richard Martínez, Andrés Peréz, Anthony Vázquez  and Joshua Hansen. They still count on two of the two most explosive players in the league in David Foley, who is one of the top-five scorers in the league with 5 goals, and Jonathan Faña,  a top-five in assists with three. Faña also scored three goals in the Islanders’ win against George Town SC.

Meeting Again
With a rivalry that has become to be known as the “NASL Classic”, the Puerto Rico Islanders and the Carolina RailHawls meet for the third time this season after both having great wins outside of their NASL schedule this last week. Both teams have league top scorers, and their last match ended a 1-1 draw, when the Islanders visited the RailHawks at WakeMed Soccer Park last May 19th. This Saturday, the Islanders look to continue their undefeated streak, while the RailHawks will try to win their first game of the NASL season.
