Islanders Begin CFU Defense
Posted on Mon, May 21, 2012

The Puerto Rico Islanders will square off against the two-time champions of Trinidad and Tobago, Caledonia AIA,  tonight in journey to become the first three-time CFU Champions in the Cayman Islands. Kick off is set for 8:30
p.m.

"It is very important for us to get the win tonight. It sets the tone for the tournament and puts us in the position we want to be. We understand we are playing a tough team but in this tournament all the teams are going to
be tough", said Head Coach Adrian Whitbread.

The Islanders will play Caledonia AIA tonight at 8:30 p.m and then will play against the team representing the Cayman Islands, GerogeTown SC, on Friday at 8:30 p.m. The Haitian team Baltimore SC has withdrawn from the
tournament, leaving the top two teams in the group to advance to the next round. You can follow all the action on the Puerto Rico Islanders' Facebook page or the team's official Twitter for the latest up-to-the minute pictures and information.
