Bayamon, Puerto Rico (May 11, 2012)The first place's Puerto Rico Islanders receive the Fort Lauderdale Strikers this Saturday at Bayamón Soccer Complex. “We play the Strikers for the second time this season. Still being a top the league after a two week break has been very satisfying but as I have said before, it is a long season. The Fort Lauderdale Strikers are a very good team so I expect a hard game but my players know what is expected of them and they are ready and prepared,” said Head Coach Adrian Whitbread.

The Strikers have played two games since beating the Islanders. They fell to the Tampa Bay Rowdies 3-1 at Al Lang Stadium in St Petersburg. Fort Lauderdale bounced back and drew with the Carolina RailHawks 3-3 with goals from Lance Laing, Walter Restrepo and Mark Anderson.
