Well, it has been a bit of a time since my last check in, but I am sure you have seen my updates on all the games. We had a great start to the season and the credit must go to the whole squad. As I have said before, all the players are important, whether they are playing or not, and this reflects on the launch of the season we have had.

I  would like to stress it is only the beginning and there is still a lot of work to do for the upcoming matches. We are taking a mini break from the action and it has given everyone some time out to relax. But in the next few weeks, we have a schedule of six games in 13 days, so now is the time to rest before we get back into the action again. Must say it has left me rather bored just watching our opponent’s games. Can you believe I decided to give my apartment a lick of paint?

For now, the boys have been training hard this week with the stress of player maintenance: yoga, strength and conditioning, plus some running. I am sure all the players would much rather be playing but, not to worry, because they will have a lot of playing time once the games start again. After our next three NASL games, we embark on a trip to the Cayman Islands to defend our Caribbean Football Union (CFU) title and the squad will be stretched to the limit.

Everybody is excited to start playing again and can’t wait for the games to begin. I shall look forward to seeing you all again on May 12th at the Bayamón Soccer Complex.

 We are all one
