The Puerto Rico Islanders continued its pre-season camp beating the Puerto Rico Under-20 National Team, this past Thursday at the Bayamon Soccer Complex.  The Islanders will square off against Caribbean University next Monday, at Bayamon Soccer Complex.  Kick off is set for 2.30pm.

“The team came out and responded very positively after its loss to Bayamon FC. I am learning a lot about this team and I think some of the players are also getting to know each other," said Head Coach Adrian Whitbread. 

The Islanders quickly took a 1-0 lead in the opening moments of the first half.  With a 1-0 lead going into the second half, last year's Captain, Noah Delgado, beat the goalkeeper putting the Islanders up 2-0. Puerto Rican international, and trailist  Andres Pérez scored his first goal of the pre-season sealing the 3-0 victory.

The Islanders return to pre-season action this Monday when they face Caribbean University at the Bayamon Soccer Complex. Kick off is set for 2:00pm.
