The Puerto Rico Islanders announced today the Puerto Rico Islanders' Goalkeeper School. The 2012 spring semester will take place every Friday starting March 9th. The clinics will take place at the Bayamon Soccer Complex. Islanders' Assistant Coach, Jack Stefanowski, will be leading the camp.
“Im very excited to continue our goalkeeping clinics. Last year we helped a lot of young players maximize their potential, and we are excite to make this year’s clinics bigger and better. The clinics provide a great opportunity for goalkeepers to reach the next level in their development. We look forward to welcoming them into the Puerto Rico Islanders family through this great experience,” said Assistant Coach Jack Stefanowski.
The Puerto Rico Islanders' Goalkeeper School is for youngsters between the ages of 7 and 17. It will cost $250.00 for nine sessions in total, including the uniform. The Camp will take place between March 9th and May 11th. The first weekly session will take place between 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the 7-12 age bracket and 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the 13-17 bracket.
