The Puerto Rico Islanders fans will have the opportunity to choose their “Player of the Year” . This award was developed in partnership with "La Barra Naranja” and is brought to you by Toyota.

 “The Puerto Rico Islanders have always had some of the most passionate fans in the NASL. I think this is an excellent opportunity for the fans to us tell who their favorite players are. Being able to give this award with “La Barra Naranja” makes it even more special. Our supporters group has always been there to support not only the club but soccer on the island. We encourage all fans to log on to the Puerto Rico Islanders facebook and vote,” said Director of Communications Ignacio Rodriguez-Argote.

Fans are asked to submit THREE nominees for “Fan Player of the Year". All fans are encouraged to send an email to vamostropa@prislandersfc.com . Deadline for nominations is Wednesday, November 2.

The Puerto Rico Islanders front office will gather all the votes and release the THREE candidates for voting. The votes will be tallied on a poll on facebook from November 3 to Midnight November 6. The winner will be announced on Monday November 7.
