The Puerto Rico Islanders look to continue their undefeated streak at home against FC Edmonton this Saturday, at the Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium. The Islanders are coming off a dramatic road victory over FC Tampa Bay last Saturday, clinching a berth to the 2011 NASL playoffs. The ???Orange Troop??? will be celebrating ???Youth Club??? night; anyone wearing their??? Youth Club??? Jersey will be given a free ticket. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm.

The Puerto Rico Islanders are the only team in the NASL to be undefeated at home. They have currently won their last four games in a row and have only lost one game out of their last fourteen.?? During the streak they have outscored their opponents 20 to 9 and have boasted two ???NASL Defensive Players of the Week??? in the last three weeks. One of those players Aaron Pitchkolan gave the Islanders an important away victory with a wonder striker in extra time over FC Edmonton on August 6th at Foote Field.??

FC Edmonton is currently in Puerto Rico to square off against the Islanders on both Saturday night and Tuesday. FC Edmonton ended an eight game winless streak against the Atlanta Silverbacks on Aug 21st. They are currently tied with NSC Minnesota Stars for fifth place and are only one point up on the Fort Lauderdale Strikers who currently hold the sixth and final playoff spot.
