With Fourth Win in a Row, Islanders Clinch Playoff Spot

The Puerto Rico Islanders clinched a playoff berth with a 2-1 victory over the FC Tampa Bay. With this win, the Islanders have won 12 out of thier last 13 including four in a row. Nicolas Addlery and David Foley both scored giving the "Orange Troop" a 2-1 come from behind victory.

The game was delayed 30-minute becuase of inclement weather.

Mike Ambersley gave FC Tampa Bay a 1-0 in the 30th minute with his 10th goal of the year. 

Puerto Rico quickly responded with the tying point in the 33rd minute on a goal by forward Nick Addlery inside the 18-yard box, assisted by midfielder Noah Delgado.

Puerto Rico took its first lead of the game when forward David Foley scored in the 75th minute after he took on multiple FC Tampa Bay's player and calmly put the Islanders 2-1.  Foley has now scored in the last three league games for the Islanders.

Puerto Rico's "Defensive Player of the Week" , was challenged often, but continued his outstanding play, denying multiple close range shots and only allowing one goal. The Islanders defense has only allowed nine goals in the last 13 games.
