The Puerto Rico Islanders find themselves in a must win situation this Wednesday (August 3rd) against Isidro Metapan at Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium in CONCACAF action. Kickoff is set for 8:00pm.
The Salvadoran club reaches Bayamon with a 2-0 lead after its victory at home against the Islanders on last Wednesday. The winner of this series will go to the next phase of the Champions League where they will compete in Group B along with the Colorado Rapids of MLS, Real Espana of Honduras and the winner of the series between Santos Laguna of Mexico and club Olimpia of Honduras.
The series will be decided by number of goals in two games.In the event of a tie after the game this Wednesday, the first tiebreaker is the away goals. If after this tiebreaker, the series is still tied, the game will go into overtime then a penalty kick shoot out.
